Master Shi Yan Yue is the 34th generation Shaolin Warrior Monk who began his Shaolin Kung Fu training and study of Buddhism under Venerable Abbot Shi Yong Xin in 2000. After receiving meticulous and intensive training from the Masters at the Shaolin Temple, Master Yan Yue’s talents were gradually revealed. Master Yan Yue’s training includes various weapon and Kung Fu hand forms. Among these, he specializes in Shaolin Tong Zi Gong, Shaolin Shuang Shou Jian (Double-Hand Straight Sword) and Seven-Star Praying Mantis Form. During the time he spent at the Shaolin Temple, he followed Master Huei Tong and learned to cultivate the Dharma of Chan at Mt. Yun Ju in Jiangxi and Mt. Wutai in Shanxi provinces. In addition, Master Yan Yue accompanied Venerable Abbot Shi Yong Xin in Australia, Brazil, England, Italy, and Switzerland to promote cultural exchange. Master Yan Yue has also performed for many world political leaders during their visits to China. He has received recognition for his remarkable performance from leaders such as Henry Alfred Kissinger, the 56th Secretary of State of the U.S. and Vladimir Putin, President of Russia. In 2007, under the delegation of Abbot, Master Yan Yue started teaching Shaolin Kung Fu in the United States.
